Author interview about Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen

 – with Amalie Smith and Amalie Kestler

On the occasion of the newly opened special exhibition Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen the museum has invited author and visual artist Amalie Smith and editor-in-chief of Politiken Amalie Kestler for a talk about sculptor Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen (1863-1945). In the conversation, the two authors will discuss Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen's life and work on the basis of their in-depth knowledge of the sculptor.

It comes i.a. to talk about how, in their own way, they have used letters from Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen's hand to speak into the present; Amalie Smith has written the book Marble, and Amalie Kestler is co-author of the book Carl and Marie – in art and love, where the letters play a decisive role in both cases.

The special exhibition and the museum's café is open this day until 17.30:XNUMX p.m.

Organized in collaboration with Lolland Librariess and Guldborgsund Libraries, who also sell tickets on their websites.
